Job Description

Overview

Since its foundation in 2007 It’s Nice That has become a trusted source of creative inspiration online, in print and through our events. Winner of a Webby Award for Best Cultural Website, It’s Nice That is a leading platform in the creative world reaching over 2 million people each month.

As well as covering inspirational work and projects, we harness our creative expertise to help brands communicate their messages and products to our creative audience. This takes the shape of advertising, brand partnerships and creative insight projects for partners. We work with brands of all scales, from local start-ups through to some of the world's biggest brands such as Apple, Spotify, BBC, Nike and Adobe.

Role Description

This role is focused on finding and developing partnership opportunities with brands and agencies interested in working with us. The role requires a strong communicator who enjoys building successful relationships with partners, crafting briefs and proposals for new projects and has the ability to work independently to lead on new business opportunities. This role sits within the New Business team, but also works collaboratively with the broader It’s Nice That team, so a pro-active, positive and make-it-happen attitude is key.

This is a good position for someone who has existing experience in a similar role in the creative industry and is looking to continue their development as part of a growing company.

  • Experience in sourcing, contacting and building relationships with new partners
  • Pro-active with the ability to work independently
  • Good people skills that build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication with experience in developing briefs and proposals for clients
  • Organised with strong time management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve a shared goal
  • Able to shape incoming briefs to align the needs of partners with the mission of It's Nice That
  • Interested in the world of creativity, with an understanding of the media landscape

Key Tasks

  • Liaising with our partners to filter new leads, developing client briefs and signing off work
  • Developing new business opportunities with partners, consulting clients on the right solutions and aligning briefs with the wider project delivery team
  • Oversee the growth and delivery of partnerships
  • Leading on mid-sized partnerships, and supporting the Senior Partnerships and New Business Manager to develop larger scale opportunities

  • Proactively look for new leads, seeking outside of the organisation for new opportunities and keeping aware of market developments
  • Executing sales strategies for outreach campaigns
  • Tracking key opportunities and clients in Hubspot
  • Working with the It’s Nice That team to build decks for client pitches and proposals
  • Support on B2B comms, such as our marketing materials, managing awards, speaker opportunities, press opportunities and other relevant activities
  • Increasing the awareness of It’s Nice That’s opportunities and overseeing how we communicate our offer to potential partners
