The Role

Due to an increase in our Studio activity, we are looking for a 3D artist, familiar with event applications and structures to join our studio team and assist in the design, illustration and development of 3D visualisations of proposed and implemented projects and events.

Application will be varied and include collaboration on event layout illustrations and visuals for pitch work, existing event development and creative experience proposals. There will also be requirements for application in video, animation and 2D design applications.

This will be an involved role, where you will get the opportunity to work across a variety of brands applications and have the opportunity to develop your skills to help achieve the highest standards in all aspects of asset creation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Utilising your understanding and ability in 3DS Max, Vectorworks or similar illustration/rendering software to produce high quality, eye catching visuals in a variety of styles.
  • Be proactively involved in the development of projects that require your expertise, working with the Studio Manager to guide on timings, application and creative solutions, when appropriate.
  • Creating high-resolution renders in line with supplied briefs.
  • Generate animation and video options when required in line with supplied briefs.
  • Upkeep of project filing across work servers.
  • Carry out briefed work in a timely manner and make requested variations.
  • Ensure applications are in line with brand guidelines (Audience and client’s).
  • Develop expertise to involve better practice and end result.
  • Work with scaled vector drawings to reflect accurate product and site designs.
  • Versatility for occasional involvement in the design and layout of 2D assets and application as workflow demands.
  • Work with producers to generate appropriate campaign assets suitable for application.
  • Prepare assets for output and application across a variety of applications.

What we are looking for

Role necessities:

  • Experience of application with event or exhibition stand concept design and presentation.
  • Competency in a 3D illustration and rendering techniques utilising familiar industry software ( 3DS max, Vectorworks or similar )
  • Understanding of fly-through application from renders
  • Advantageous additions
  • Familiarity of Adobe CS, including After Effects and Premier
  • 2D graphic design and layout applications ( Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of Powerpoint/Google slides
