We are looking for a Senior HR Manager who will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle of our 50+ teams across the group. This is a generalist HR role responsible for Talent & Recruitment, Learning & Development, Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging, Rewards & Benefits and HR Operations with the administrative support from an HR Assistant. Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations & People, and an important part of the Senior Leadership team, you will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing the HR strategy across four key areas: Talent & Recruitment, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Rewards & Benefits.

  • Oversee everything HR with responsibility for 50+ employees
  • Lead on and off-boarding processes for all staff
  • Build great relationships with employees and managers, providing advice, support and coaching
  • Develop and manage benefits and rewards packages including annual pay reviews and salary benchmarking
  • Work closely on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives teams to ensure our progress is always moving forwards
  • Set HR targets and report to leadership team on a quarterly basis
  • Develop and manage appraisal and development processes for all staff
  • Identify training needs, pursue internal and external solutions to fill gaps, and lead engaging trainings where appropriate
  • Manage employee relations including performance issues, grievances and disciplinaries
  • Keep up to date with current UK employment law, implementing necessary changes when needed
  • Lead internal staff satisfaction surveys to identify new opportunities & challenges
  • Maintain and develop company policies
  • Work with senior leadership on workforce planning, identifying gaps and working on succession plans
  • Lead recruitment processes, ensuring fair and best practise, working closely with hiring managers to provide coaching and support where needed
  • Develop and manage HR systems and softwares
  • Manage monthly payroll and pension systems
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, including People team counterparts at Residence and leads within each business
  • Line manage the HR Assistant and work together to streamline processes

You

  • At least 5 years experience working in an HR generalist role
  • Experience working within the creative industry
  • Pro-active and uses initiative to take full responsibility of the HR function
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a changing environment
  • Comfortable working across multiple businesses
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law
  • Empathetic, open and approachable, you're a brilliant listener who offers creative solutions to real challenges

Details

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pa depending on experience

Reporting into: Head of Operations & People

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (flexible hours between 8am - 7pm)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Kingsway, Holborn (Hybrid working between 2 days/week at our central studio and home)
