Job Description
We’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our team in Bermondsey.
You may be a graduate looking for your first design role or someone with a year or so under their belt, either way, this is an opportunity for you to work closely with experienced designers who are excited by you bringing new ideas and input to the table, as well as helping you learn and grow as a designer.
You’ll have a portfolio full of strong conceptual work, with branding as a focus. And don’t be afraid to show us the ‘boring’ stuff. Seeing you can set copy in a leaflet is as important as illustrating you’ve got a mind full of creative ideas.
We don’t expect you to be the finished article, no juniors are. But we're looking for talented people with passion, potential and ambition who can hit the ground running and grow into the role to become a valuable member of the team.
Our work is predominantly focused on hospitality and FMCG branding, so any experience in this area – even if self-initiated – is a bonus.
You’ll:
– Have the usual Adobe skills with an emphasis on Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
– Have good people skills
– Be able at explain and sell your thinking
– Have experience and knowledge of typography, colour and layout
– Have a passion for design
