Fancy being at the forefront of the greeting card and giftware industries? Due to the rapid growth of our business, we are now looking for a highly talented Graphic Designer to lead on some exciting projects with the aim of expanding our brand and market reach.

Tache is an award-winning publisher of contemporary greetings cards that are designed and handmade in Poole, Dorset. Using the highest quality and sustainable materials, we supply some of the most prestigious retailers in the UK and around the world.

You’ll be an integral part of our growing team, helping to deliver beautifully crafted products through your design expertise. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of print and digital production techniques, be organised and passionate about creating top quality work. Does this sound like you?

Key Responsibilities

- Point of contact internally for all aspects of design and print

- Create compelling and enticing visual presentations for prospective collaborations and licensing opportunities

- Work closely with the marketing team to produce strong visuals for campaigns when required

- Create and present mood boards for new products, ranges and concepts

- Art-working for new product ranges and promotional or marketing materials including catalogues

- Liaising with external suppliers for quotes and provision of print, design and other goods and services

- Assist the Junior Designer with design files for internal printing or external print suppliers

- Provide assistance and support for the Junior Designer on a day-to-day basis

- Liaising and corresponding with current and prospective collaborators

- Adhere to the brand guidelines

- Competitor research and trend analysis

- Design and improve packaging solutions

- Refresh website with visual content – banners, product shots etc when required

- Update and maintain any relevant internal systems with new product data and materials

- Work with the Sales and Marketing team to manage new product ranges, from concept to launch, to meet key deadlines and support sales plans

Required Skills, Abilities or Experience

- Design qualification

- Experience within a creative role

- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

- A good eye for typography

- Excellent print and production knowledge

- Photography skills beneficial

- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Has precise attention to detail, with pixel-perfect accuracy

- Excellent IT skills

- Strong time and project management skills

- Good ‘housekeeping’ and organisational skills, including file management

- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per year, dependent on experience
