Future Stores, a leading innovator in immersive retail media, is seeking experienced duty managers to join our team. This includes a full-time role of 40 hours per week, as well as part-time positions.

The duty managers are a key member of the store management team, working closely with the store manager to ensure the daily operations of our new flagship London store on Oxford Street run efficiently, professionally and safely.
Our London store was created with flexibility and agility in mind. LED screens are reprogrammable in an instant, offering dynamic content adjustment, dividers to split the space into two, brand showroom areas, meeting rooms, spacious stock areas, and a team ready to help deliver tailored brand experiences. We envisage hosting between 15-18 brand activations annually.

The full-time role of 40 hours per week offers a gross annual salary of £35,000. For part-time positions, the salary is calculated on a pro-rata basis. The part-time positions minimum shift time is 4 hours, usually 6, including weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities (inclusive of but not limited to)
- Oversee the daily operations of the store when the store manager is unavailable.
- Serve as the primary contact for brand partnerships and their stakeholders in the store manager's absence, offering hands-on support for the preparation and setup of store activations and events, while overseeing their load-ins and load-outs.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, Health & Safety regulations, security measures, emergency procedures, and Licensing Laws.
- In the event of an emergency or fire alarm the duty manager is required to manage a full building evacuation, and work as the contact person to the fire brigade / emergency services, in the absence of the store manager.
- Keyholder duties involve opening and closing the store, setting the alarm in accordance with security protocols, and responding to emergencies or specific needs. This includes coordinating building maintenance, reporting LED screens technical issues, overseeing intruder and fire alarm.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a comparable innovative and premium environment within media, immersive venues, retail, hospitality, events, or the arts and cultural sector.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible. Being available on a flexible schedule is an essential part of the role, which includes weekends, evening events, UK bank holiday, and seasonal holiday shifts, as well as occasional early morning / late evening hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task, exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- A pro-active, hands-on approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to be involved in the practical set up of store events and activations.
- Physically fit as lifting and moving may be required.
- Personal Licence Holder or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid and Fire Marshall certified or willingness to become certified.
