About Poppins:

Here at Poppins, we create emotive marketing, brand identities, smart digital products and creative strategy. We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director with a strong background in social marketing and creative direction to help lead high-quality work across brand campaigns, social-first creative and content.

About you:

As an Associate Creative Director here, you’ll be an experienced creative thinker who is confident shaping ideas from concept through to execution. You’ll have a strong understanding of social platforms and how creative work can be designed to perform across them.

This role is structured around leading creative output across projects — from early-stage ideation through to delivery while supporting and mentoring members of the design team. You’ll be responsible for developing strong creative concepts, guiding the team’s work and ensuring that ideas are strategically aligned with client goals.

You will have the ability to embrace the speed and urgency that comes with content production, enjoying fast-paced problem solving at every stage of the process.

Within the creative team, you’ll collaborate closely with strategists, designers and producers to create impactful social campaigns and brand content. You’ll also play a key role in presenting ideas to clients, building relationships and championing creative work throughout the process.

An Associate Creative Director at Poppins does not work in isolation — ideas are shaped collaboratively across the team regardless of hierarchy. You’ll be expected to contribute your perspective, guide creative discussions and help elevate the work of others.

Who we’d like to find:

  • Someone with a genuine love and passion for the creative process
  • Strong experience developing creative concepts for social-first campaigns and content
  • Excellent understanding of social platforms and how creative performs across channels
  • Experience presenting ideas and creative work to clients
  • Proven ability to lead projects and guide creative teams
  • Strong visual storytelling and art direction skills
  • Proficiency in design tools and software (Adobe Suite, Figma)
  • Experience in video production and post-production is highly beneficial
  • Copywriting skills and the ability to craft compelling messaging is a bonus
  • Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills

About the role:

  • Leading the development of creative concepts for 360 campaigns and branded content
  • Providing creative direction across all projects from ideation through to delivery
  • Presenting creative ideas, strategies and campaign work to clients
  • Managing and mentoring designers, and junior creatives within the team
  • Ensuring creative work aligns with both brand strategy and social platform best practices
  • Collaborating closely with strategy, design and production teams
  • Overseeing the development of content including video, motion and static assets
  • Contributing to creative workshops, campaign ideation and brand storytelling
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering high-quality creative work across multiple projects
