Motion Designer — AI & Film Production

London | Hybrid — 2 days per week in the studio

Our client is looking for a Motion Designer with strong AI experience to join their creative team and help deliver a new generation of AI-led film and visual content.

This is a hands-on creative role, combining traditional 2D and motion design with AI production. You’ll take scripts and creative ideas and turn them into compelling visual stories — developing the look and feel, storyboarding scenes, and creating AI-generated characters, environments and sequences through to final film.

The role

- Develop the visual style and creative direction for films and content

- Take a script and translate it into scenes, storyboards and visual sequences

- Create AI-generated characters, environments and scenes

- Experiment with different AI tools and workflows to achieve the right creative outcome

- Combine AI-generated content with strong 2D, animation and motion-design skills

- Work closely with the existing creative and production team to deliver high-quality work

About you

- Strong background in 2D and motion design

- Hands-on experience using AI for image, video or scene generation

- A strong eye for style, composition and visual storytelling

- Comfortable taking an idea or script from concept through to finished execution

- Curious and experimental, with a genuine interest in how AI is changing creative production

- Experience with AI filmmaking or generative production is highly desirable

The role is London-based and requires a minimum of two days per week in the studio. For an exceptional candidate with experience building or leading AI film-production workflows, there may be flexibility around the working pattern.
