Junior Content Editor
Job Description
MOB Kitchen is looking for an ambitious Content Editor to join our fast-growing team, and become a key player in our fast-growing food media platform.
Our ideal candidate will be an engaged, experienced, and talented writer that isn’t afraid to get stuck in at all levels of content creation. Or get stuck into a delicious plate of food. This role involves working in a close-knit team and will suit an outgoing person that’s comfortable with the occasional administrative task. A knowledge and passion for all things food and drink is essential.
The Role
You will be writing copy for the MOB Kitchen website and email on a daily basis as well as helping to manage a busy editorial calendar and report on the overall performance of the website.
Responsibilities
Coming up with creative content ideas on a regular basis.
Write clear and concise copy for the MOB Kitchen social copy, website, and newsletter.
Manage the upload of content onto the MOB Kitchen CMS.
Work and liaise with Senior Content Editor on wider editorial series and concepts.
Assist in the organisation and management of content schedules.
Implement initiatives to improve web traffic.
Report to Senior Content Editor.
Desirable Experience
Proven working experience in a similar role is preferable
Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or similar photo editing software.
An in-depth knowledge and passion for all things food and drink.
A good understanding of the MOB brand and tone of voice.
Previous CMS experience is preferable
To be self-driven, proactive, and up for a challenge.
An understanding of SEO and best practices for producing digital content.
Familiarity with Google Analytics.
To be highly organised and a natural problem solver.
To be a strong team player who is capable of thinking on their feet.
