Job Description

Zendesk is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help deliver beautifully crafted, engaging campaigns for our fast-growing, billion-dollar company. You’ll take a senior role, leading on projects from brief through to delivery—as well as joining forces with the wider campaigns and brand teams for our flagship campaigns.

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about their craft, with a curiosity about how their work can directly impact the broader business. You’ll be working with skilled writers, filmmakers, producers, animators, and a team of versatile designers—an incredibly no-nonsense and friendly bunch, that will make you laugh as frequently as they amaze you with their work.

Perhaps you’re wondering why you should work at Zendesk over some cool creative agency. We offer genuine respect for mental health, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to flex your creative chops while also delivering the goods. Not to mention that our work wins the occasional Webby (or two).

The day-to-day:

  • Lead on a broad range of multi-format campaign projects, with deliverables spanning brand identities, social campaigns, interactive reports, and branded content
  • Design creative that engages, encourages, and connects with our audience – and puts a fresh spin on our visual language
  • Take complex, technical briefs and transform them into easy to understand, on-brand campaign ideas – couch junior creatives through those challenges
  • Collaborate across different time zones and look for opportunities to strengthen global diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a designer or art director working in creative marketing and/or advertising. Experience working in-house would be good; B2B experience gets a gold star.
  • Strong sense of design principles, typography, layout, attention to detail, and conceptual skills
  • Experience leading projects, speaking publicly to partners, defending design decisions, and incorporating feedback
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience either leading other creatives – or mentoring with a desire to more formally line manage
  • Technical skills and program competencies: Figma is our main squeeze, but proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and broadly Adobe CC is very effective too.

Applicants MUST include a portfolio. Work samples should show design craft, conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and a variety of experiences.

What we offer:

  • Full ownership of the projects you work on
  • Team of passionate people who love what they do
  • Interesting projects, ability to implement your own ideas and improvements
  • Opportunity to learn and grow
  • Generous remuneration and stock units
  • Pension

...and everything you need to be effective and maintain work-life balance:

  • Flexible working hours
  • Professional development funds
