Job Title: Lead Creative

Company: Krotos

Location: Remote (Offices in Edinburgh and Athens)

About Us:

Krotos is a dynamic and innovative software company dedicated to making high quality sound design accessible to everyone by crafting immersive and captivating audiovisual experiences. Our team is driven by a passion for creativity and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of storytelling through cutting-edge technology. The company is fast-growing and expanding constantly as they emerge as a leading player in innovation in this space. We’re a remote business that wants the best people for the job, no matter where they are.

Job Description:

Krotos is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Creative with a large emphasis on content and art direction. As the Lead Creative, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creative direction of our projects, leading a roster of designers, copywriters, and motion artists to deliver high-quality and visually impactful content to engage with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a roster of designers, copywriters, and motion artists to create compelling content that aligns with business goals and audience expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider teams to develop innovative concepts and visual styles for various projects, including but not limited to promotional videos, commercials, and interactive experiences.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are executed with exceptional quality, attention to detail, and within established timelines.
  • Provide creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in all things creative and design-based, and integrate them into our workflow to enhance the overall quality and impact of our work.
  • Work closely with senior management to understand their vision, objectives, and feedback, and translate them into creative solutions that exceed their expectations.

Team Values:

1) A culture of curiosity

Great thinkers congregate, collaborate, learn from each other, and get inspired.

2) No passion, no point

We need to love what we do and have fun doing it. Otherwise, what is the point for any of us?

3) Hungry eyes see far

Tenacity and resilience are vital to our success. Not every day will be easy, it’s how we handle it that matters.

4) Get comfortable being uncomfortable

This is what growing is all about. We need to push ourselves and push others around us.

5) We don’t stop until the work is done

We set deadlines and we deliver on them. Our team is known for always going the extra mile.

6) The glass is half full

A collective of optimists. Ignore the cynics. We have to believe that we are going to have an impact. Energy and enthusiasm are contagious.

7) No such thing as a bad idea

This doesn’t mean we’ll run with every idea but we’ll certainly build a culture where every opinion or idea is listened to and respected.

8) Let the work do the talking

Politics is a no go, we don’t talk our way out of situations. We roll our sleeves up and get great work out the door.

9) The devil is in the detail

Working at pace doesn’t mean we let stuff slip. We take pride in what we do. Sweat the small stuff, it all adds up.

10) The score takes care of itself

Concentrate on what will produce results rather than on the results, focus on the process not the prize.

11) Be nice

End of.
