Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a talented and capable Motion Clean-up and Compositor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and career in a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

You will have a keen interest in both film and photography and a good knowledge of After Effects, mostly working in a 2D space. You should also have confidence to work in a 3D application to render elements in stills and motion deliverables (we don’t render whole scenes; we use 3D software to make elements to go into photographic scenes). Some of our work involves "Cinemagraphs" – a combination of a still photograph with motion footage, requiring some rotoscoping and motion tracking.

The Motion Clean-up and Compositor will be confident in the following software:

After Effects

As a Bonus you will be confident in the following software:

Cinema 4D

Photoshop

Premiere (the ability to edit film in Premier with sound)

Davinci (this is a welcome bonus)

We work on Mac, but will purchase in equipment if needed for the right candidate.

The Person

Some of the other key skills and qualities of a Motion Clean-up and Compositor:

Knowledge of After Effects software

Some Knowledge and enthusiasm of current camera equipment and/or motion control equipment

Able to take initiative, work efficiently and meet deadlines with an exceptional eye for detail

Consistently maintains high standards in every aspect of their work, having the desire to create the best quality images
