Job Description

Studio DRAMA is on the lookout for a sharp, organised and creatively empathetic Project Manager with at least 3+ years of experience in creative or brand agency environments. This is a client-facing, hands-on role where you’ll keep our projects, people, and processes humming—balancing structure with flexibility, and deadlines with creative flow.

Based in our Shoreditch studio, you’ll sit at the centre of our small but mighty team, helping to coordinate our design output, manage client relationships, and support the business across multiple functions.

Who we are

We are Studio DRAMA. We combine the crafted storytelling of a branding agency, with the technical excellence of a type foundry. Our mission is to help brands achieve the greatest impact on their audience, by harnessing the power of typography.

London-based, with a global mindset, we partner with forward thinking brand owners across a broad range of sectors. Projects span strategic thinking and clear concepts to custom typefaces and unified design systems, bringing brands to life by shining the spotlight on type.

We choose simplicity over complexity, accessibility over elitism, and a positive, collaborative approach. Think big agency experience with small studio agility, creative made with genuine passion, and a tight-knit team that never conforms to type.

Who are we looking for

You’re not just a logistics expert; you’re a natural organiser who understands the rhythm of a creative studio. You know when to push and when to protect space. You speak fluent timelines, but you’re not afraid of whiteboards, moodboards, or messy brainstorming.

You’re calm under pressure, confident with clients, and proactive when it comes to problem-solving. You take pride in doing things properly, but you don’t take yourself too seriously.

Experience in a branding or design agency is ideal, especially if you have an appreciation for type, identity, or visual culture—but what matters most is your attitude: focused, collaborative, and keen to make a positive impact in a growing studio.

What you will be doing

This role blends classic project management with strategic coordination across the business. You’ll be helping us stay on top of projects, streamline our operations, and elevate how we work—both internally and externally.

Project & Client Management

  • Lead day-to-day project coordination—from kickoff to delivery.
  • Own timelines, budgets and resourcing across multiple projects.
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, keeping communication clear, timely, and on-brand.
  • Partner closely with the creative team to align on project needs and deliverables.
  • Prepare proposals, track budgets, and support cash flow forecasting.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence and clarity.
  • Ensure processes, SLAs and NDAs are respected across the board.

Studio Operations

  • Help optimise and maintain internal systems and workflows.
  • Track and report on creative resourcing—including freelance support.
  • Conduct quarterly audits to review overheads and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support directors in planning, scheduling and reporting across studio activities.
  • Use (and ideally love) Notion, G Suite, Keynote, and/or Pitch to keep things moving.

Cross-Studio Support

While this role is project-focused, you’ll also support across business operations—from shaping internal planning tools to assisting in strategic conversations around resourcing and delivery.

We’re a small, ambitious team—so curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset are all essential.

Where you will work

  • Based in our Hoxton studio
  • 4 days in-studio, 1 day remote (we’re flexible but connected)
  • Standard hours: 9:00(ish) am – 6:00 pm

In return, you will get

  • A pivotal role in a creatively ambitious studio
  • Autonomy and responsibility from day one
  • A close-knit, design-obsessed team
  • Exposure to bold, high-profile work across sectors
