Senior Graphic Designer

Outthought is seeking a senior graphic designer with 7+ years of experience to join our small but perfectly formed creative team in Norwich. We’re looking for a creative problem-solver with excellent conceptual abilities and the craft skills to realise their brilliant ideas who can take projects from brief to completion. The successful candidate will be a great communicator (verbal, visual, and written), a team player, and a strategic thinker who is comfortable in client-facing situations.

About You

Essential

• 7+ years of experience, ideally in an agency setting
• An extensive portfolio of work across graphic design, branding, typography, print, and digital for a range of clients.
• The ability to articulate your work with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight, both internally and with clients.
• In-depth understanding of print and production processes
• Outstanding skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software
• Comfortable leading the creative direction of projects, bringing inspiration and clarity to the process, while encouraging originality and excellence within the team.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and maintain creative excellence throughout.
• A keen eye on industry trends, embracing new tools and techniques to enhance creative output.
• A willingness to engage with the potential of Ai in design
• A great eye for typography and a willingness to engage with its more technical aspects
• The ability to art direct photo and video shoots and brief third-party service suppliers
• Impeccable attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience in design and branding for large scale property developments
• After Effects and brand animation experience
• An understanding of design for social media platforms
• UX experience
