Job Description

Yatta is a motion studio specialising in art direction and animation. We hit the ground running in early 2021 with a single vision: make motion that matters, and have since worked for clients from New York to Tokyo, including Miro, Volvo and The Conran Store. We have a child-like love for the craft and believe in the power of animated content to bring brands and people closer together.

Yatta is a sister studio to Fiasco Design, with whom we share a studio in South Bristol. As a new studio, we are at a really exciting stage of our growth as we start to build relationships with our clients and establish our course for the next few years. We’re looking for someone to jump on board and be part of shaping the output of the studio.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-creative Motion Designer to join the Yatta team.

You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team, working collaboratively with animators and motion designers to ensure we exceed in delivering awesome work to our growing client base. You’ll be heavily involved in each new brief, from early conversations with the client, through to conceptualising and design.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a creative agency or motion studio.

You’re a problem solver. You’ll love finding solutions to design challenges and equally enjoy untangling the puzzles that arise as we work to give our clients the best possible service.

You’re a creative thinker and doer. You’ll surprise us with your creative approach to design and your commitment to creating outstanding work for our clients.

You’re a proactive, self-motivated and collaborative individual, always eager to learn new skills and share your knowledge with the rest of the team. You don’t like sitting still - and are proactively looking to push your skillset and experiment in downtime.

You are experienced in Illustrator, and After Effects. If you have experience working with 3D software, C4D or similar, this would be a bonus (but not essential).

Benefits?

  • Working with a team of people who genuinely love what they do.
  • Working out of a beautiful studio near the centre of Bristol with flexible working hours and WFH Wednesdays.
  • The opportunity to work on varied projects for exciting brands around the world.
  • 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
  • 4-day working week over the summer holiday period - ‘Summer Hours™’.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Bike to work scheme.
