Job Description

We are looking for a commercially driven, production aware Talent Agent to join our London team. This role will focus on managing and growing a roster of photographers, building strong client relationships, and driving new business opportunities across editorial and commercial markets.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of stills production workflows, with an awareness of motion production processes, is confident negotiating complex deals, and thrives in a collaborative, artist-led environment. You will work closely with Producers and EPs to ensure projects are competitively bid and seamlessly delivered from brief to completion. This position offers the opportunity to shape artist careers while contributing to the continued growth of a dynamic, evolving company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and grow a roster of photographers and visual artists, guiding their career development and long-term positioning in the market.
  • Actively attract, retain, and nurture exceptional talent, contributing to the strategic growth and strength of the department and broader roster.
  • Proactively source, negotiate, and secure editorial and commercial opportunities for O&A artists.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, direct clients, stylists, and creative partners.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and agencies, maintaining clear communication throughout each project.
  • Lead negotiations across fees, usage, licensing, and copyright, with a clear understanding of commercial structures and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with Producers to interpret briefs, shape production approaches, and ensure bids reflect creative ambition while remaining aligned with production realities, efficiencies, and margins.
  • Work closely with Producers and EPs to oversee projects from initial enquiry through award, contracting, shoot, delivery, and wrap.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with artists, offering clear strategic guidance while being adaptable and confident working with a broad range of personalities, clients, and collaborators across the industry.
  • Support artists in diversifying income streams across stills, motion, publishing, advertising, TV & video.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across stills and motion, proactively sharing production updates and contributing to weekly sales meetings to ensure cross-team awareness.
  • Liaise with the Creative Manager to ensure work is shared across social platforms and the Object & Animal website.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 6+ years’ experience in talent representation, booking, or sales within photography, motion, or creative industries.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing commercial deals with strong understanding of fees, usage, and copyright.
  • Strong understanding of stills production workflows; working knowledge of motion production is advantageous.
  • Commercially astute with experience reviewing and shaping budgets alongside Producers.
  • Established industry network across agencies, brands, and creative decision-makers.
  • Experience across commercial and editorial markets.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to manage high-level clients and talent.
  • Strategic thinker with a clear understanding of artist development and long-term career building.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
