Job Description
Senior Freelance Designer
We’re looking for graphic, digital, UX and branding designers to work with us either on a project-by-project or potentially part-time freelance basis to assist us with a range of interesting and challenging print / digital projects that we're working on this year.
We're looking for someone with an outstanding portfolio, demonstrable experience and great approaches. You'll bring your skills and talent to bear on work for our charitable, social and public sector clients. Although we're multidisciplinary, a very large part of our focus is digital and we work on a range of interesting and sometimes complicated digital projects, organisational sites, apps / platforms and more.
It goes without saying that you must have a passion for and love of good design, be motivated and have great attention to detail.
About us
We've been established for nearly 25 years working mostly with for-purpose organisations. A typical client for us will be a charity, social enterprise, public sector organisation or mission-driven private business, and our work will typically help our clients to impact their work, people's lives, society or the world and climate for the better.
We’re a team of ten friendly people – we're a boutique studio, but some of our largest clients have considerable reach with our work / impact reaching far + wide both nationally and internationally.

Essential
Graduate level education or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years commercial experience working in a design/digital agency environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation, with experience achieving the best presentation to clients
Experience in creating compelling visual identities and strong typographic skills
Highly desirable
A good understanding of web usability and accessibility
Understanding of print production and finishing processes
