Purpose

This role exists to bridge design excellence and technical execution.

As a Senior Digital Designer, you will shape how digital experiences and brands are conceived, designed, and built at Justified.

You will work at the intersection of design, brand, product thinking, and front-end technology, ensuring our digital work is not only beautiful, but robust, scalable, and intelligently constructed.

You will lead digital projects from concept to execution, contribute directly to production-level work, and help evolve how a lean senior team delivers high-performing digital products, brands and experiences to our clients. This role is both creative and technical leaning.

Motion and interaction design are core to this role. You will design how digital products feel in use, defining transitions, states, feedback, and behaviours that bring clarity, rhythm, and meaning to experiences.

The Role

You will take ownership of complex digital projects, shaping experiences across brand, websites, platforms, and products. You will collaborate closely with strategy, development, and project leadership to ensure design intent translates cleanly into working systems.

You bring an elevated design eye, strong product instincts, and a working understanding of code, motion, and interaction. You think in components, systems, and states, not just screens. You understand how interaction, animation, and timing affect usability, accessibility, performance, and emotional response.

Beyond delivery, you will help define best practice, mentor others, and contribute to the studio’s evolving digital methodology.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Design & Product Thinking

- Lead digital design projects from concept through to build and launch.

- Translate strategy into clear experience architecture, interaction models, and visual systems.

- Design interfaces that are elegant, usable, and grounded in real technical constraints.

- Design interaction models that define how users move through and engage with digital products.

- Develop scalable design systems that work across products and platforms.

- Champion accessibility, performance, and usability as core design principles.

Design Engineering & Technical Collaboration

- Work fluently alongside developers, understanding front-end frameworks, components, and build processes.

- Contribute directly to implementation where appropriate, including Webflow, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Design with code in mind, ensuring concepts are feasible, efficient, and maintainable.

- Support the evolution of AI-assisted design and build workflows within the studio.

Creative & Delivery Leadership

- Own design quality across digital projects, maintaining high standards from concept to release.

- Present work clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients.

- Collaborate closely with strategy and project leadership to align creative ambition with scope, timelines, and budgets.

- Mentor junior designers, helping them develop stronger product and technical thinking.

- Contribute to pitches, proposals, and early-stage concept work.

What You Bring

- Senior experience delivering complex digital brands, products, platforms, or websites.

- A strong design portfolio demonstrating craft, systems thinking, and problem solving, with a clearly discernible level of taste and experience delivering high-quality, production-ready outputs.

- Strong experience designing interaction and motion for digital products or platforms.

- A working understanding of Webflow, front-end development, including modern CSS, component-based design, and responsive systems.

- Comfort collaborating deeply with developers and technical stakeholders.

- Strong product instincts, with the ability to think beyond static screens.

- Curiosity for emerging tools, AI workflows, and new ways of building digital experiences.

- Confidence working in a lean senior team where autonomy and accountability are expected.
