Screen Pilot is an award-winning integrated creative agency based in London (UK) and Denver (US). We build brands and experiences designed to unlock the power of our clients, exploring new ways to engage audiences with progressive ideas and high impact creative.
In the last few years we’ve created iconic brands for new restaurants across Europe with Marriott, sparked a new generation of category-defining pizza in the UK, and partnered with luxury hotels in the US.
We believe brands are entering an interesting phase in online and multi-sensory digital touchpoints and we are looking to push our creative practice in that direction.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Digital Designer, specialising in website, apps and digital products - to join our creative team and help deliver standout digital work across a wide range of hospitality clients.
You’ll play a key role in shaping both our web design and digital products - whilst collaborating closely with our Project Management Team, Design Team and Web Developers.
You will need to demonstrate a keen visual eye, knowledge of UX, and the ability to translate briefs into visually engaging, high-performing creative. This role is ideal for someone with sharp digital skills and a growing creative voice.
Role Responsibilities
- Helping spearhead the creative on all our websites and digital output
- Conceptual thinking informing an ideas-led approach
- Informing UI & UX decisions on all new websites
- Have good knowledge of current accessibility guidelines and how to apply to projects
- Have a meticulous eye for detail
- Driving simplicity and genuine usability in all work
- Create inspiring design ideas and execute across website and apps
- Making improvements and design amends to our client’s existing websites
- Taking creative responsibility for projects from initial brief through to finished product
- Responding productively to changing deadlines and priorities
- Selling work effectively both internally and with clients
Key Skills & Requirements
- A strong portfolio that showcases a diverse range of website and app designs
- A strong understanding of typography, colour and art direction - bringing all of these together into solid digital experiences.
- ADA Compliance and accessibility awareness
- Working knowledge of optimisation for web and performance best practices
- An obsessive eye for detail
- Active problem solver
- A passion to stay up to date with the latest digital trends and exploring how web design can be used to connect brands with audiences in engaging ways.
- Knowledge of the Website process - site mapping, wireframing and design - and how to bridge those processes
- High level of skill in Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proficiency with Figma animation, prototyping and auto-layout
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and team members and ability to explain rationale in a comprehensive and concise manner.
- Versatile in your creative approach, constantly exploring new ideas and striving to create unique and memorable experiences.
- Familiarity with or a demonstrated interest in using AI tools within the web design process.
- Bonus skills: Webflow knowledge and experience
