Job Description

Who’s Yatta?

Yatta is a motion studio specialising in art direction and animation. We hit the ground running in early 2021 with a single vision: make motion that matters, and have since worked for clients from New York to Tokyo. We have a child like love for the craft and believe in the power of animated content to bring brands and people closer together.

Yatta is a sister studio to Fiasco Design (fiasco.design), with whom we share a studio in South Bristol. As a young studio, we are at a really exciting stage of growth as we start to build relationships with our clients and establish our course for the next few years. We’re looking for someone to jump on board and help shape that journey.

What’s the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, super-organised, detail-driven Producer to join the Yatta team.

You’ll be working collaboratively with animators and motion designers to ensure we exceed in delivering awesome work on schedule and on budget. You’ll be involved in each new brief, from early conversations with the client, through to budgeting, scheduling timelines, overseeing day-to-day communication, helping manage feedback and building positive, long lasting client relationships.

Who are you?

You excel at delivering quality work on time. You’re an excellent communicator and someone who always provides solutions and clarity. You're pragmatic when it comes to prioritising, but you’re not afraid to demand more and take ownership. You’re capable of pushing creative boundaries and suggesting daring new ideas. You’re versatile enough to adapt to a broad range of challenges and enjoy wearing many hats.

You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Producer – or similar – role, ideally for animated and video content. You have previously worked in a small-medium sized agency/studio. You have a deep understanding of the animation and motion design process, from storyboards to the finished product. You are familiar with industry standard tools: Slack, Xero, Frame.io etc. You enjoy the creative side of production and jump at the chance to bounce ideas off motion designers and animators.

What are the benefits?

  • Working with a team of people who genuinely love what they do.
  • Working out of a beautiful studio near the centre of Bristol with flexible working hours and WFH Wednesdays.
  • The opportunity to work on varied projects for exciting brands around the world.
  • 25+ days holiday (+ bank holidays).
  • 4-day working week over the summer holiday period - ‘Summer Hours’.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Bike to work scheme.
