Job Description

ABOUT JELLY

Jelly is a specialist creative studio with bases in London, New York, and Barcelona — and a fi rm belief that great production is nothing without great thinking. We partner with world-class talent to help brands solve real problems and tell stories that actually connect. Our work is rooted in animation, illustration, and lettering, spanning everything from 2d cel animation to high end 3d, character design to fonts, motion graphics to mixed media live action - all brought together under one creative vision. We're not a production company that executes briefs. We're a creative partner for brands who want more than just deliverables.

We're growing our production team and looking for a Creative Producer who combines sharp creative judgment with serious executional ability - someone who can hold client relationships, manage complex projects from brief to delivery, and thrive in a fast-moving, ambitious studio environment.

THE ROLE

Jelly is evolving, and this role is central to that. You'll be the day-to-day engine running projects across our UK, EU and US client base. You're not just managing timelines - you're the connective tissue between our clients, our creative team, and our talent network. You have a deep love of craft, you genuinely care about the work - and our clients and talent will feel that.

You'll report to our Global Head of Production and work closely with our Executive Creative Directors, EPs, and talent roster.

QUICK FACTS

  • Contract: Permanent / full-time (with an initial 3-month trial period)
  • Mid-weight to Senior role
  • Location: London (Farringdon) — Hybrid (2 days per week in studio preferred)
  • Reporting to: Global Head of Production (UK based)
  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Closing date: 3rd April 2026
  • Employee owned company

THE ROLE

You'll own the full lifecycle of projects - from the fi rst conversation to fi nal delivery - working across our UK, EU, and US client base. Here's what that looks like day to day:

Client & Project Leadership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact on projects — building trust, managing expectations, and communicating with clarity and confidence.
  • Lead scoping, budgeting, and scheduling of projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Ability to digest a brief and break it down into a solid production plan — always balancing quality, timing, and cost, whether the project is 2D, 3D, stop motion, or mixed media. If you don’t know something, you’ll know who to call.
  • Define the right production setup for each project — roles, fees, and timelines — in close collaboration with our EPs and Head of Production.
  • Having access to a strong, proven network of key talents and collaborators to build smart and competitive teams
  • Collaborate with the creative team to help shape and interrogate briefs — asking the right questions, not just taking the brief at face value. You care about the work enough to have an opinion - and you're not afraid to use it in a creative conversation.
  • Having an integral role in treatments and pitches, helping us win work and convert opportunities.
  • Manage changing circumstances with clients diplomatically and proactively, always keeping the Global Head of Production informed.
  • A curious mindset, being up to date with production pipelines and new ways of producing i.e. AI workflows.
  • Production Management.
  • Oversee projects from end-to-end: from initial scoping and ensuring we have the right team in place through to production and delivery.
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and resource bandwidth across active projects, coordinating with the global team.
  • Be accountable for project budgets and margins, always looking for ways to push our production approach to be more efficient and effective.
  • Maintain Jelly's high standards of quality, craft, and communication throughout every project.

Team & Culture

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture. Communicating openly, fl agging problems early, and supporting teammates.
  • Help recruit and manage crew and talent that align with Jelly's standards and values.
  • Stay across industry trends and bring fresh thinking to production challenges and client briefs.
  • Support Jelly's social responsibility outreach as part of our commitment to DEI and leaving the industry in a better place than we found it.

The Essentials

  • Experience in a creative studio, production company, or agency environmen
  • Solid experience in fi lm, animation, and illustration production, you know the full lifecycle inside out. We work across 3D and 2D illustration and animation so strong experience in these areas is a must. On set experience running live action / stop motion / stills shoots is a plus.
  • Experience building and managing bespoke teams for a projects, assessing a projects needs and tailoring the team to those requirements.
  • Experience leading - pitch and treatment proposals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, clear, timely, and professional with clients and talent alike.
  • Strong organisational ability: you can juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping the ball.
  • Genuine confi dence in client-facing situations, you're comfortable leading a call, managing difficult conversations, and building lasting relationships.
  • A collaborative, no-ego working style, you bring out the best in the people around you.
  • Comfortable working across time zones.
  • Technical proficiency across a range of production related softwares and programmes.

WHO YOU ARE

You're the kind of producer who doesn't wait to be told what to do. You spot a problem before it becomes a crisis, communicate before anyone has to chase you, and take genuine pride in the quality of everything that goes out the door. You're as comfortable in a creative review as you are in a budget spreadsheet and you understand that great production is what makes great creative actually happen.

You care about the work, the people making it, and the clients trusting you with it. You're ready to be part of a studio that's ambitious, evolving, and serious about doing things differently.
