Job Summary

An ambitious, commercially driven Studio Booker who owns studio sales at ColourWorks. You will be responsible for filling the studios: winning new business, converting enquiries and options into confirmed bookings, and growing revenue from every client relationship. While client care and studio operations are central, commercial drive is key and it is an essential component to this role - you will treat the booking diary as your pipeline and occupancy as your key benchmark, taking personal accountability for hitting revenue and utilisation targets. You will be a personable, client-facing professional with a keen interest in the photography, fashion, beauty, and luxury industries, who is as confident picking up the phone to a new brand as they are running a complex multi-studio booking. Alongside sales, you will manage the end-to-end booking process across the ColourWorks spaces, act as the primary on-site booker, and keep precise control of financial administration, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced, large-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Ownership

  • Owns the ColourWorks studio sales target, taking accountability for revenue and occupancy against monthly and annual goals.
  • Proactively generates new business through outreach to brands, agencies, production companies, photographers, and art directors, rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries.
  • Converts enquiries and options into confirmed bookings quickly, following up diligently and closing out holds before they lapse.
  • Identifies quiet periods in the diary early and acts to fill them through targeted outreach, re-engaging lapsed clients and creating commercial offers with the Studio Manager.
  • Maximises the value of every booking by upselling additional studios, equipment, crew, hospitality, and extended hours.
  • Leads on pricing and quoting with commercial confidence, negotiating to win business while protecting rates and margins.
  • Nurtures long-term relationships with key and/or premium clients, top-tier photographers, and art directors to secure repeat and higher-value business.
  • Maintains an accurate sales pipeline and provides weekly forecasts and conversion reporting to the Studio Manager and senior leadership.

Bookings & Pipeline Management

  • Strategically manages high-volume options and complex multi-studio bookings for ColourWorks, prioritising the most valuable and confirmed work.
  • Analyses utilisation and sales trends partnering with senior management and the Studio Manager to implement targeted strategies that maximise revenue and occupancy across all locations.

Shoot Production & Logistics

  • Acts as the primary bookings anchor on-site, overseeing the best in class operational execution of varying scale, concurrent shoots for luxury clients.
  • Directs cross-functional logistics with internal divisions to ensure complex technical, equipment, and production resources are seamlessly aligned for all shoots.

Financial Administration

  • Formulates comprehensive studio hire costs, handles post-shoot invoicing, and tracks all high-value client additions so nothing goes unbilled.
  • Manages monthly financial logging and budget tracking, providing clear reporting, cost-saving ideas, and commercial insights directly to the Studio Manager and senior leadership.

Team & Client Experience

  • Partners with the Studio Manager to orchestrate assistant workflows across the venue.
  • Works with Hospitality and the wider studio team to curate an elite floor experience that drives repeat bookings and strengthens the ColourWorks brand and reputation.

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales or business development, ideally in a studio, venue, or production environment, with evidence of consistently hitting or beating revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the confidence to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close.
  • Previous experience in a busy studio environment running complex, high-volume options and bookings for fashion, beauty, or luxury clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills, with an existing network or the ability to build long-term relationships with premier clients, top-tier photographers, and art directors.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including formulating comprehensive hire costs, managing post-shoot invoicing, logging monthly budgets, and delivering clear reporting to senior leadership.
  • Strong logistical coordination skills, with the ability to oversee the flawless execution of concurrent, large-scale shoots.
  • Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with internal divisions, hospitality, and the wider studio team.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a track record of juggling multiple workloads under pressure with minimal supervision.
