The company

Memberd is a subscription based mobile and web platform which enables creators to offer a members’ only service to their community of followers. At Memberd we believe that creators should have an environment where they can express their individualism as well as unify their entire global community of followers, who can interact and engage with like-minded members in an imitate, judge free members’ space. At Memberd we aim to create a multi-social use members platform. Providing both an all-in-one monetary system to support creators whilst giving users value for money and a memorable experience.

The Role

In the role of UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for IOS, Android and Web design. Day-to-day, you will be working on building and developing front and backend designs for both mobile and web platforms for Memberd, solving problems and providing solutions as well as staying up to date with leading industry methods and tech. You will also be developing new features for creators to interact, monetise and break down their analytics. You will also be responsible for user experience on the Memberd platform.

Key to this will be:

o Improving and optimising the digital user experience through design

o Curating platform feature designs and mock-ups concepts that can be used to pitch ideas to internal stakeholders

o Using UX data to aid design concepts

o Working closely with the team to ensure designs support the overall creative direction set for the company

o Producing graphic branding designs

Skills (Essential)

Must be a senior level contributor

Must be self-driven and possess the attribute of being a self-starter

UI / UX Generalist

Experience with research: The sensing and seeking portion of double diamond. Being able to answer the "what's the right problem to solve?"

o Specific skills would be interviewing users, need finding, and user testing - all would be relevant.

o Product Design Skills (Wireframing, Interaction design, UI Design, prototyping)

o Web design

o Designing features for web (and understanding best practices for web)

o Mobile application design

o Designing features for native mobile apps (and understanding the nuances and best practices for it)

o Apple Human interface guidelines

o Google Material Design

Additional Skills (Not essential)

Animation

Requirements

o 5 years agency, freelance or in-house industry experience in designing mobile and web products and services

o Experience in responsive IOS, Android and web design

o Experience in user/audience research

o End to end experience from project inception to launch of product or service

o Working knowledge of GDPR

o Excellent communication skills

o Excellent presentation skills

o Portfolio of exceptional user interface and user experiences

o Extremely skilled in the fundamental elements of visual design

o Exceptional eye for detail

o Brilliant organisation skills
