Photo Agent

We are looking for an experienced Photo Agent to join our production studio in Shoreditch, London, starting ASAP. Working under the Head of Photo, you’ll play a key role in growing and supporting our growing roster of Photographers, building strong client relationships, and driving new business across editorial, advertising, fashion and brand work.

This is a hands-on agenting role: you’ll be a day-to-day point of contact for our photographers, clients and producers, and a vital connector between creative talent, agencies and brands. You’ll bring a sharp visual eye, an existing industry network, and a real passion for photography and the people who make it.

Essential Attributes:

• 3-6 years’ experience in a similar role at a photography agency, production company, artist representation business or talent agency
• Demonstrable track record of supporting or leading bookings, from initial brief through to delivery.
• A strong existing network of clients and creatives across agencies, brands and publications
• A deep love of photography, with a sharp visual eye and a clear point of view on the contemporary image-making landscape
• Confidence negotiating fees, usage, terms and contracts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised, resourceful and pro-active, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and personalities
• Proficiency in Mac, G-Suite and Microsoft Office

Role Highlights:

• Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for our roster of Photographers, supporting them across bookings, development and career growth
• Working closely with the Head of Photo on roster strategy, talent scouting, signings, artist management and strategising.
• Pitching for new business, building treatments, decks and proposals in collaboration with photographers and producers
• Negotiating bookings, fees, usage and contracts with clients and agencies
• Building and nurturing relationships with brands, agencies, magazines and creatives in the UK and internationally
• Identifying new talent and supporting the growth and development of the photo division
• Liaising with internal producers, retouchers and the wider production team to ensure smooth project delivery
• Supporting marketing, PR and social activity for our photographers, including portfolio updates, mailers and press features
• Attending shoots, industry events, awards and previews to represent KODE and our roster

Working Style

This is a full-time role with flexible working between our space in Shoreditch and remote. We value in-person collaboration and time on set, and we trust our team to manage their own working pattern in line with the needs of our photographers, producers and clients.
