The role:

Perfect Cartel is looking for a talent 2D / Graphic Designer who might have experience across a number of mediums. They are a strong self-leader and conceptual thinker with the highest creative standards that can independently and consistently execute compelling work, translating vision from brief to actualisation.

The designer will understand how to translate a marketing / PR objective into a visually exciting and effective creative experience for brands. They will work on creative concept & design, campaigns, creating beautiful and compelling presentations, art direction, graphic design across print and digital, mood boards, interior design and layouts, ad-hoc creative design work.

You will have 5+ years in a similar role, within a similar client base and enjoy working across luxury and discerning brands across beauty, fashion and lifestyle- understanding the specific nuances and needs of each brand and elevating this to the highest level.

Essential – Exceptional Adobe Suite knowledge across key programs – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Our producers and clients work regularly in Keynote and Google Slides for presentations

Desired – Illustration or animation, SketchUp, CAD, Cinema 4D and/or spatial visualisation, interior styling, set-design skill & interest.

Responsibilities -

• You will be integral in developing visual narrative and strong story-telling to in-coming client briefs whilst understanding experiential, events design and production and how to translate brand and product identity.

• Have a deep insight in how to produce Event design creative that performs as part of a wider content strategy and aligns across multiple platforms & channels – from IRL production assets, to social and across digital

• High level of mood-boarding and presentation curation, a great eye and solid conceptual thinker

• Be able to implement a combination of design skills at different stages of a project including photoshop, typography, graphics and art direction

• Creative Pitches/Concepts – Contributing to creative and strategic discussion around new briefs and responsible contributing to the response including concept ideation, visual curation, working with artists, materials sourcing and event-relevant materials.

• Managing own workflow and deadlines in relation to projects; must work well and collaboratively under pressure.

• Be able to put the client/brand at the centre and find solutions to creative problems.

• Spatial Design – Knowledge and experience of spatial design - retail, merchandising, architectural & floorplans in event or retail space is desirable

• Implementation of brand guidelines – keen to push and challenge, not limit!

• Preparing assets for production. Must be able to communicate with suppliers and adapt design based on ad hoc requirements. High level of attention to detail.
