Job Description

YCN (You Can Now) is a learning and development partner to creatively driven organisations of all shapes and sizes — from foodie favourites like Pip & Nut and Dishoom to burgeoning tech companies like Whereby and SuperAwesome; publishers like the Guardian and It's Nice That to amazing charities like Shelter and Action for Children.

We're rethinking training and development for the 21st century; providing modern and motivating approaches to building in-demand skills for the modern world of work, and empowering people to learn and grow together. The skills and topics we explore with our brilliant community of partners ranges from creative thinking to remote collaboration; leading others to neurodiversity awareness.

We’ve an immediate opening for someone keen to work and learn within our close-knit central team; supporting the organisation and delivery of our programmes — both those delivered to groups from different organisations, and those taken directly into our partners' teams.

As a Programme Assistant you’ll be working directly with members of our partners' teams, helping them to make the most of the work we're doing together — from helping onboard their teams at the outset; to scheduling and organising diaries throughout the cycle of a project or partnership, to following up for feedback and future opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:

— Helping to facilitate the day-to-day experience our partners have with our learning platform and programmes; whether helping to manage the calendar, sharing resources and follow up materials or warmly respond to the questions and suggestions we receive.

— Researching potential subject experts and collaborators, as well as possible future partners to support new business growth.

— Participating in kick off sessions with new partner teams to capture individual and collective learning goals.

— Supporting the scheduling and community management of tailored partner programmes.

— Helping to follow up with course and programme participants to share ongoing resources and capture feedback.

— Preparing and sharing reports with key clients in our partners teams to show learner engagement.

— Generally bringing ideas, energy and imagination to our day-to-day doings.

Key strengths this role will help you play to and build:

— Organisation

— Listening

— Collaboration

— Research

— Written communication

You: We hope this role will appeal to someone that loves the feeling of being organised, and making things easier for other people. You'll be naturally very curious, interested in the people and culture / learning and development space and what makes people tick. You should be motivated by the idea of supporting others to thrive at work, and to personally grow through trying new things with others.

We're open to the experiences you've developed to-date that you feel transfer well to this role; and whether you're a recent graduate or already have some relevant experience under your belt. Salary will reflect this, alongside benefits and an ongoing budget for personal development.

We’re currently working remotely, transitioning back to our workspace at 72 Rivington Street in London — but will be retaining a flexible approach to working; and so are open to individual preference when it comes to working location.

This role could be either 4 or 5 days a week.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and community; value different thinking styles and strengths, and are open to any adjustments to best support you in your time working with us.
