Overview

Hotel is a world-renowned creative studio based in Soho, London. We are known for creating artful and deeply engaging retail and experiences for global sports and fashion brands, but our offering extends to creative strategy, product and campaign conception, multi-media art direction and interior design.

This role reports into the 3D & Production Director, while working closely with the 3D and Production teams, and supporting the Design team to ensure Hotel’s creative vision is realised to the highest possible standards.

Person Specification

You will be highly motivated and have extensive knowledge of creative production, retail executions, pop-ups and design projects, in all their myriad forms. With a strong instinct for high quality execution, you will share our commitment to developing Hotel’s international reputation for creative and production excellence.

You will be an evangelist for best practice approach, driving research & innovation both internally and with third party production partners. Meticulous attention to detail should inform an uncompromising desire and vision to fulfil the creative concept into final delivery.

You will need to be highly organised, produce work of the highest calibre, and be comfortable working under time pressure.

Core Responsibilities

+ Help develop designs into a workable production ready state collaborating with the Design, Production and Project Management teams.

+ Create 3d models/visuals to the highest possible standard, in order to communicate Hotel’s creative vision to clients and production partners.

+ Create precise and clear production drawings for external production suppliers, briefing and guiding them clearly whether remotely or on site.

+ Manage multiple projects, while supporting other members of the 3d team and their work.

+ Attend site visits, installations to provided support and help when required. This may occasionally need to occur outside of normal studio hours.

+ Support the Project Management team to deliver projects on time and on budget to the highest standard of excellence.

+ Communicate regularly and clearly with all relevant members of Hotel team in order to produce the highest level of work within the given time frame.

+ Troubleshoot and identify future risks and plan for issues before they arise.

Essential Requirements

+ 5-8 years of relevant design experience in agency or brand

+ Excellent modelling capability in Rhino

+ Experience with detailed retail / interior rendering with Octane Render

+ Comfortable working in our studio full time and not ‘from home’

+ Postproduction skills in Adobe Creative Suite

+ Capable of producing technical/production drawings for external suppliers

+ Wide knowledge of production methods and finishes

+ High level of attention to detail

+ Passionate about all aspects of design, including interiors and retail environments

+ Teamwork – demonstrable ability to collaborate with design and project teams to keep projects on track

+ Can do attitude - a doer, prepared to roll up sleeves and get stuck in

+ Confident & articulate, good communication in writing and conversationally

Advantageous requirements

+ Experience using Unreal Engine
