Job Description

2022 is an exciting year for Hex and we’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer experienced in native mobile and web app development, to join our growing team in the heart of Farringdon. We have some exciting new projects starting this year for brand new businesses with seed funding, and for established organisations. You will be involved at all stages of the project from concept ideation through to the technology architecture, build and deployment, including -

  • Leading on all aspects of mobile app development including tech-stack definition and scalability, build, QA, deployment and continuous integration
  • Advising on all design aspects from a technical perspective, UX feasibility, UI implementation, including discovery and requirements gathering
  • Working closely with our design, engineering, projects and client services teams to successfully deliver client projects
  • Working on an agile project management methodology
  • Architecting and building solutions to client requirements and communicating these solutions to clients and the team
  • Maintaining best practice standards of code and coding standards

We’d love to hear from you if you have a proven track record of building high quality mobile apps with millions of users.

How many projects will I be working on at a time?

We actively work with a range of clients, covering large multi-year long digital product builds, smaller project work and monthly retainers. This means your month could consist of getting stuck in to a new project, or split across a handful of interesting clients looking to develop new features.

What will my personal space be like?

Our Farringdon office is open plan, and you’ll have a spacious desk embedded within your high-performing team with storage for you to use. We also have several spaces for collaboration, such as meeting rooms and sofas. We work on a hybrid model and do not mandate a particular number of days for you to be in the office.
