The Phoenix is a weekly comic with a simple mission: to make the most exciting comic in the world every single week. We make and publish high quality comic stories, unique features, non-fiction and storytelling and art guides using top quality writing, illustration and design.
ABOUT YOU
As the Junior Designer at The Phoenix, you will be working closely with our designer and editorial team, be interested in supporting branding, clear messaging and working with illustration and illustrators. You will be developing great design with evidence of good ideas and perfectly crafted executions. You are able to tackle complex narrative and non-fiction projects with a focus on simple and clear presentation for children aged 6-12 that is exciting, modern and approachable. As you will be working in a small and dedicated team you are prepared to get your hands dirty, muck in, help out and make things happen.
