They are looking to bring in a new Lead 2D Graphic Designer to head up a small design team, who has a hunger to produce inspiring work. They are looking to find someone highly proficient across 2D design for a very hands-on role, who has gained experience designing 2D applications for 3D spaces. They would like to find a candidate who can demonstrate strong work across windows, pop-ups, activations and scaling up in their folios. Work across guidelines and toolkits would also be ideal. It is key for them to find someone who understands how graphics interact with 3D spaces. Strong management experience is also essential!
Salary: £55-60k
They offer hybrid working, with Tuesday & Friday WFH
Key Responsibilities:
• Creating and developing 2D / Graphic Design for exciting concept designs for window displays and retail spaces - from POS to large scale facade takeovers
• Supporting the wider design team delivering graphic design assets for multiple projects
• Supporting the artworking team preparing large format print files for window rollouts over multiple stores
• Graphic design & artworking of vector files for cut vinyl
• Building design presentations - guidelines, toolkits & specification packs for production
• Scale a concept, message and experience across varied formats from large scale immersive pop ups and windows to consumer takeaways
Key Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of the world of retail and brand experience, and the design and
• production process
• A keen creative eye with experience in generating engaging narratives and creative concepts to help reinforce brand messages and sell specific products
• Good experience preparing artwork for print
• Expert understanding of design principles across typography, colour theory, layout and composition, branding and identity.
• Ability to guide, mentor and coach other designers
