Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced marketer to help our growing agency connect with even more great organisations who understand the power of UX.

Supporting our head of marketing as well as working closely with our founders, business development and client services teams, this is a real opportunity to shape the direction of Lighthouse.

About you

A seasoned hand

This isn’t your first time at the rodeo. You’ll have significant digital marketing experience, either agency side or in-house.

You may not have been management before – perhaps you’re an ambitious marketing exec looking to take the next step – but you’ll have taken the lead on a project basis at least and enjoyed doing so.

Data-driven

Gathering and analysing data to build a picture of performance is second nature to you, and your reporting skills are on point. Technically adept, you understand the landscape of modern digital marketing tools.

You can pick the right platform for the job, and pull info out with ease, feeding back your findings engagingly.

Strategically minded

You see the bigger picture, and can contribute to planning our activities in the medium and long term. There’s never any shortage of ideas here, so a methodical mind to capture, evaluate and organise them is a must.

You’re likely to have run content calendars before as well as planning social and/or outbound campaigns.

Adaptable yet focused

There’s a lot to do and loads of directions our marketing can take as we love to experiment and learn (we’re UXers, after all).

You’ll be comfortable with the fast pace of agency life and prioritising the different strands of a varied workload, but equally happy to contribute and challenge the direction where appropriate.

Our ideal candidate

  • At least 4 years experience in a professional marketing environment, with a demonstrably strong track record.
  • Interest in all things user experience, product and design.
  • Top notch written English and confident communication.
  • Happy managing external resource, briefing and getting the best out of copywriters, developers and designers.

Things we’d love you to know about ⭐️

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords and Data Studio.
  • Experience with PPC/paid media campaigns.
  • Experience using WordPress (don’t worry, we aren’t going to ask you to start coding).
  • Familiarity with Figma/Sketch (don’t worry, we aren’t going to ask you to redesign the site).
  • A love of (or at least healthy respect for) Airtable.

Perks

  • Quarterly bonus scheme 💸
  • Private health insurance 👩‍⚕️
  • Weekly yoga classes 🤸‍♂️🧘‍♂️
  • Company creative outings and hack days 🎨👾
  • Year long agency training programme 📚🎟

Location

We are a remote-first team with the majority of us based in and around London, UK.

You’re welcome to work from our lovely office – located seconds from Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell- from a home setup or a mix of the two. Whatever works for you.

You don’t have to be UK-based, we will accept applications from any location, but would prefer people who work in similar time zones.

The boring small print

Salary is negotiable within the given range and will be based on skills and experience.
