About the Role
We are looking to expand our team to include a full-time video editor with at least a basic understanding of motion graphics to work across a variety of social content and short-form documentary commissions.
In this role, you will be working, in particular, to build our explainer-style video offering across our social channels.
You will be expected to edit engaging and dynamic short-form video that combines archive, simple motion graphics, piece-to-camera and voice-over. You will work closely with our in-house designer who will help at direct the tone and style of each piece.
You will have the freedom to work both from home and alongside our team at our studio in Hackney, East London.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an editor that is confident with narrative, has experience creating engaging explainer-style content, and has the advanced creative skills to bring a story to life using music, sound design, archive, transitions, and motion graphics.
You must be able to work creatively with our in-house designer and producer and capable of turning edits around quickly under pressure.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Passionate, hardworking, open-minded, and enthusiastic
- Have minimum 3 years of relevant professional editing/motion graphics experience
- Be an extremely well organised and proactive planner
- Be comfortable articulating your ideas and interpreting feedback
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premier, and Adobe After Effects
