Job Description

We've an immediate opening for a Partnerships Assistant, and would love to hear for you if the description here appeals.

You Can Now is a learning and development partner to innovative organisations of all shapes and sizes — from foodie favourites like Pip & Nut and Dishoom to fast-growing tech companies like WeTransfer; publishers like the Guardian and It's Nice That to amazing charities like Shelter and Action for Children; sensational retailers like Lush and Cubitts to creative agencies like Koto and Accept & Proceed.

We help our partners’ teams — from the leaders at the top, to their newest hires — to build in-demand skills for the modern world of work. And we do it in motivating and memorable ways; combining live, social learning experiences with on-demand resources that inspire people to experiment with new skills and different ways of thinking together.

The topics we explore with our brilliant community reflect what’s important to teams today — from making the most of remote collaboration, to neurodiversity awareness; giving and receiving feedback well to maximising time and energy. And our commercial ambition is matched with a social one. Since 2001, our work with a global network of schools, colleges, universities and community groups has connected thousands of diverse and ambitious young people with industry expertise and opportunities in creative and mutually valuable ways.

Our website will give you a good idea of what we’re exploring, and who we’re exploring with.

As a Partnerships Assistant you’ll be supporting the development of new business and establishing new partner relationships across all aspects of our work, including cross organisational learning programmes, and direct to client activities. That might be a leadership development programme for managers at The Modern House, a company-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion workshop series for KFC or an internal mentoring programme for Citi.

Drawing on personal strengths and relevant past experiences (we’re very open minded to what they are) you’ll research potential new partners, investigate inbound enquiries, spark new conversations with existing partners and help new partnerships get warmly underway — continually identifying partnership hot-spots and opportunities for growth.

You’ll be working in a supportive, close-knit and purpose-driven central team focussed on enabling others through continual learning and ensuring our values are expressed and experienced in everything we do.

-----

As a Partnerships Assistant your responsibilities will include:

— Researching potential partners and identifying key new contacts.

— Overseeing campaigns that share our work and world with potential partners and invite them to experience our approach.

— Helping to facilitate the positive day-to-day experience our partners have in their relationships with us.

— Supporting in developing eye-and-mind catching proposals in response to requests.

— Contributing creatively to PR and social media activity.

— Participating in kick off sessions with new partner teams.

— Preparing and sharing updates with existing partners and colleagues.

— Generally bringing ideas, energy and imagination to our day-to-day doings.

— Use our CRM tool, Hubspot, to keep records up-to-date.

— Investing in your own continual growth and development.

-----

Key strengths this role will help you play to and build:

— Researching

— Influencing

— Collaboration

— Communication

— Curiosity

-----

You:

You'll be naturally very curious, enjoy flexing your communication skills, interested in the learning and development space and what makes people tick. You should be motivated by the idea of supporting others to thrive at work, and keen to personally deepen your understanding of all kinds of topics.

We're open to the experiences you've developed to-date that you feel transfer well to this role; and whether you're a recent graduate or already have some relevant experience under your belt. Salary will reflect this, alongside benefits and a generous ongoing budget for personal development.

We’re currently working remotely, and from our building at 72 Rivington Street in London — and have a completely flexible approach to working, so are open to individual preference when it comes to working location throughout the week.

This role could be either 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and community; value different thinking styles and strengths, and are open to any adjustments to best support you in your time working and learning with us.
