THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for someone extraordinary to come and join us as Middleweight Designer with a focus on all digital touchpoints in a fast-paced, FMCG environment. You’ll work across our growth channels (Meta, Amazon, TikTok), retention (email), our social feeds, and our website, leading the way with brilliantly on-brand and on-trend ideas that are beautifully executed and ultimately, perform well. There will be opportunity to jump into bigger campaigns as part of the wider Creative Team, to work on shoot concepting, and potentially even the odd piece of packaging. But digital design is where your heart is.
Key responsibilities:
- Create high-quality static assets that elevate our growth creative, in terms of beautiful execution and attention to detail.
- Be equally adept at creating video assets for the same, whether that is video or animation - moving image is a key part of our acquisition creative and a big part of this role
- Ideate concepts for digital ads that are on-brand and on-trend, being all-in on a test-and-learn approach in the fast moving world of digital creative
- Work with the social team to create imagery that elevates our social feed even further, being inspired by cues from the coolest fashion and beauty brands
- Support in shoot concepting and production, where we establish the identity for our NPD launches
- Apply brand guidelines consistently, ensuring correct use of typography, layout, colour, and brand assets.
- Occasional retouching of original assets will be part of this role, as well as helping to oversee freelancers doing some of the artworking elements of digital design once you’ve set the creative vision
- Manage artwork updates, version control, and be absolutely anal about file management!
- Manage multiple briefs simultaneously, collaborating closely with brand, growth and product teams across the UK and the US
- Contribute ideas to improve design processes and workflows as the team scales
ABOUT YOU
- At least 3-5 years proven experience as a creative designer, preferably in-house with FMCG/DTC brands
- Absolutely at home in Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Premiere or After Effects
- A social media addict, with a strong love for following brands on instagram and Tiktok
- Knowledgeable on how to create performance-led social creative
- Strong craft skills in layout, typography, colour management, and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle briefs, work at speed, and sometimes change direction last minute - the scale-up life requires being nimble at all times!
