Freelance Marketing and Social Media Designer
Job Description
The Role
The Marketing and Social Media Designer will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team to create a wide range of marketing materials across a variety of formats for our front and back list titles.
They will assist in content creation for our social channels, website, online retail platforms and book campaigns.
They will draw people to our titles and brand through a strongly designed and curated visual identity that will help drive and support sales.
They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organising their workload to meet set deadlines.
Key Tasks
• Designing stand out marketing material for use across our social media platforms, digital marketing campaigns, print, and the company website.
• Designing digital assets for online retailers such as Amazon A+ pages and brand stores
• Designing point of sale material
• Designing book and brand adverts
Key Skills and Experience
• A strong design portfolio
• Stand out design skills
• Proficiency in Adobe suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative, personable and collaborative approach to working.
• Excellent time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
• Previous experience in marketing design is beneficial, but not essential.
• Knowledge of animation desirable
• An enthusiastic can-do attitude
