THE ROLE:

Working directly with one of our key clients, you will be responsible for leveraging fact-based marketing and driving brand digital strategy. Your geekiness as well as your business understanding will lead you to greatness because you’ll help us to shoot the best content, maximize our budgets and push us to constantly improve. Across PR, organic and paid social, and Partner marketing, you will have a passion for measurement and insight. This role is centered around presenting bright ideas, derived from data and supporting the team in enabling access to data that can improve decision making and ensure delivery of brand objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - LDN (60%):

  • Drive digital analytics services (Social/PR/Web/Influencer) to achieve our business goals
  • Work with the Newsroom team to set out objectives ahead of brand campaigns
  • Support the Newsroom teams with access to data and insights that guide their decisions, helping them achieve objectives – our data guru
  • Provide insights that inform the decision makers in the planning process
  • Ensure that data is relevant, accurate and always action orientated
  • Customize global analytics toolbox for market usage
  • Own key reporting milestones, producing clear and action driven reports and dashboards
  • Provide continuous insights on how content is performing across channels, to hero successes and learn from failures
  • Recommend changes to content (2D and 3D), media spend and other factors to improve performance ‘in-flight’
  • Work with Snr Manager Digital Analytics PAR/EU to input into global measurement strategy.
  • Challenge the status quo by monitoring the market for innovative solutions
  • Keep up to date on the development of the digital ecosystem (key trends in technologies, players, vendors, etc.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - EUROPE (40%):

  • Support Snr Manager Digital Analytics with input into Blockbusters and Enhanced Level 1 media briefs using previous campaign insights to make fact-based decisions to drive ‘best in class’ media plans.
  • Support Snr Manager PAR/EU Digital Analytics with Mediacom & MAT to deliver holistic campaign insights that guide decisions and ensure campaign targets are exceeded.
  • Input into and execute the Newsroom KPIs and work closely with the other European analysts to align with the KPI framework.
  • Support with the target setting process for campaigns and quarterly deep dives by aligning on the KPI framework and methodology with the analysts in the EU Newsrooms.
  • Work with Snr Manager Digital analytics PAR/EU to produce Europe Newsrooms campaign reports by collaborating with other EU Newsroom analysts.
  • Support the Partner Publishing Director to provide competitor analysis quarterly.
  • Support in aligning the Partner Publishing KPI framework with other European markets.
  • Assist with the delivery of reactive reporting in EU Newsrooms e.g. UCL Final.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of social media, digital and mobile business
  • Minimum of 3 years exposure in digital and/or social (e.g. agency) environment
  • Minimum of 12 months experience of data applied to action in social media
  • Deep understanding of an ever-changing digital landscape and advanced experience in project management
  • PR monitoring experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills, and hands on experience with some of the following analytics tools, or ability to quickly learn how to use them : Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Sprinklr, Tubular, Trendkite, Microstrategy, CrowdTangle, Talkwalker and influencer marketing tools
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, strategic and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills, ensuring that insights are understood and translated into actions
  • Strong presentation skills, you will frequently be required to present your work to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to influence and build relationships quickly and to work collaboratively across a number of departments and teams
  • Excellent networking skills in an international context
  • Broad understanding and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Bachelor Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience / 2+ years exposure to digital industry
  • Fluent written and spoken English; other EU languages a bonus
