Job Summary

Dalton Maag is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join its studio in London. This position will report to the Operations Director and will build and manage the Marketing team. The Marketing Manager will also collaborate closely with the Creative Directors, Font Developers, Account Managers, and Software Developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a marketing strategy which supports the company’s overarching commercial aims; responsible for delivering against that strategy
  • Guardian of our brand, tone-of-voice, and visual identity
  • Develops the annual 360 marketing calendar; plans and manages campaigns across key channels
  • Creates insightful briefs for marketing campaigns and content
  • Manages the annual marketing budget
  • Implements our social media strategy and oversees day-to-day management of our platforms
  • Delivers the PR strategy and communicates Dalton Maag’s key messages to industry press
  • Copywrites and edits marketing materials including social media copy, press releases, client content, and website case studies
  • Oversees outreach, visits, and events ensuring a consistent pipeline of activity
  • Oversees management of our CRM platform (Hubspot)
  • Tracks and reports analytics and effectiveness to ensure strong ROI
  • Undertakes research to support new business and unlock new brand opportunities
  • Builds and manages the Marketing team

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years experience in a similar marketing/communications role
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in verbal and written English
  • Self-directed and eager to learn more about our services, relationships, and clients
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and lead processes to deliver consistent high-quality results
  • Collaborative team-player with ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Highly organized and structured approach with an ability to lead multiple projects at various stages of development and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to think strategically long-term but also deliver on day-to-day responsibilities
  • A tactical approach to campaign planning to maximise impact, deliver ROI, and identify new opportunities
  • Experience in marketing analytics and reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing or related field
