Job Title: Junior Agent

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Studio 216, Netil Corner, East London (minimum 3 days in-office per week)

Reports To: Managing Agent

Holiday Allowance: 20 days per annum + bank holidays

Salary: £32,000 per year basic + discretionary bonus/commission based on performance/meeting targets

Benefits: Company pension (in line with PAYE regulations), work laptop provided

Role Overview

The Junior Agent is a sales-driven role supporting the growth of DMB’s artist roster, production services, and client relationships. The position is designed for someone ambitious, commercially minded, and eager to develop within the photography, creative, and production industries. The role requires proactive sales outreach alongside day-to-day administrative responsibilities & artist management, offering clear progression and financial incentives based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Outreach

  • Drive new business activity with the target of securing at least three external meetings per week (screenings, coffees etc.) for the Managing Agent.
  • Proactively research and reach out to potential clients and territories, including agencies, brands, and production companies that align with both individual artists, and the company as a whole.
  • Support the preparation of sales materials such as decks, showreels, portfolios, and case studies.
  • Maintain strong awareness of global market trends, emerging opportunities, and relevant industry events.

2. Artist & Agent Support

  • Assist in the development of artist treatments and proposals.
  • Help maintain and update artist portfolios, imagery, and sales materials.
  • Support the Managing Agent with artist promotion, client follow-ups, and general artist administration.
  • 3. Administrative & Marketing Support
  • Manage updates to the website, artist pages, and internal contact databases.
  • Assist with drafting and scheduling social media content across relevant platforms (Instagram & LinkedIn).
  • Prepare and distribute newsletters.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong interest in photography, sales, talent management, and the wider advertising and creative/media industries.
  • Incredibly self-motivated with a proactive and authentic approach to outreach and developing new relationships.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to represent DMB professionally to clients.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Mac & Google literate; confident with email, spreadsheets and basic digital tools.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a creative agency, production company, or talent-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, newsletters and social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to write clear, engaging copy for sales materials or artist treatments.
  • Literate in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conversational / professional fluency in French (not essential but would be a big plus).
