STUDIO MANAGER / PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, very well organised, tech savvy person to manage a large part of the day to day running of our busy Photographic Post Production company. Touch Digital is one of the most well respected and longest established retouching houses in Europe. Working predominately in the fashion, luxury goods and fine art markets.
Sample Role Outline and Responsibilities
- Client Care & Front of House
- General upkeep of stock, equipment and office needs
- Health and Safety within the office environment
- Communicating with clients on budgets, schedules and payments.
- Handling sensitive photographic material including negatives, prints and digital media.
- Assisting in HR duties alongside directors of business
- Organising local and international couriers and deliveries
- Supporting retouching projects from conception through to completion
- Assisting in printing / cmyk proofing after suitable training.
Key Skills Desired
- 2 years of relevant industry experience (photographic)
- Some working knowledge of post production in stills and/or motion.
- Some working knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Multiple languages a bonus
- Microsoft Suite (word / excel) and using Mac based computers quickly.
- Able to forge ongoing relationships with clients and new business.
- Working under pressure to tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
- Pro-active person able to work independently but also as part of small creative team.
- Knowledge of Slack or Filemaker useful.
Shoreditch based MON-FRI 9am-6pm. 21 days annual holiday entitlement not including Bank Holidays.
