Job Description

ON is a fast-moving, design-minded technology partner — building compelling and high-impact digital experiences and software platforms. We work with forward-thinking companies that value design and user experience.

We’re not your typical agency, and place a heavy emphasis on bespoke, best-fit solutions that are tailored to the full stack challenges that we are solving — with technical rigour behind our delivery, and a focus on the right tools for the right job.

Our work spans a wide range of sectors, including MedTech, FinTech, Creative, Venture, FoodTech; with an increasing focus on sustainability through our work with charities, ClimateTech, and AgTech companies.

As a rapidly growing business, we’re looking for a motivated and organised designer to join our multidisciplinary team and own ON’s brand and external communications.

If that sounds like your cup of tea, we’d love to chat.

About the role

We sit at the intersection of design and technology and value designers with a keen eye for detail, and a good mix of technical and commercial knowledge. Under supervision from the more senior members of the team, you will work across multiple projects to ensure that ON’s visual content, communications and design assets are executed to a high standard. You will join a growing team, working in a fast paced, exciting creative environment. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in graphic design as well as creative flair and fresh ideas.

This is a permanent, full-time position

We’re headquartered in London and embrace flexible working, but ask for 2-3 days onsite

You’ll be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of technologists, designers, strategists and researchers

Responsibilities

• Design and execution of ON’s external communications; social media assets, client decks, pitch decks, website content etc.

• Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries

• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organisation of graphic files

• Work closely with the senior team to understand and deliver on project objectives and deadlines

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design trends and techniques

• Preparing and providing creative layout/templates graphics in various formats

About you

We are looking for someone who is motivated, communicative and detail oriented. The kind of person who loves to problem solve, is optimistic and can get excited about both the big and small tasks. You will have a curious mindset and a willingness to learn and grow your role.

• Experience working in an agency environment

• Passionate about doing great work and pushing creative within and beyond brand guidelines

• Impeccable attention to detail – but also the ability to see the bigger picture

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects

• Proficiency in Figma (or similar software)

• Proficiency working with presentation programs such as Google Slides

• Can demonstrate a wide range of design approaches when working on a project

• Punctual, work efficiently and comfortable with deadlines

• Can manage and prioritise more than one task at a time

• A good communicator and collaborative worker – quick to ask questions, comfortable providing rationale for design decisions and comfortable being transparent with the team about how projects are progressing and developing

• Proactive about checking your own work to a high level of accuracy and taking in feedback

• You are passionate and knowledgeable about the design industry, culture, and the zeitgeist

Benefits

As part of a fast-growing team, we expect a lot from our people, but also make sure that you have the support you need to deliver and to grow - both personally and professionally. As well as working with a dynamic, diverse and multidisciplinary team, you get:

• A competitive salary

• Access to the company bonus scheme

• 24 days paid holiday per year, plus national holidays

• Remote working as standard

• We’ll provide the latest Apple laptop and an external monitor along with any equipment you need to be comfortable working from home

• Work from home allowance, we’ll contribute to your internet

• Funding and resources to continue professional development

• Additional benefits with each year of service
