Job Description

Terms: Part time (3 month probationary period), 3 days per week

About GROW:

GROW aims to raise the emotional, physical, and environmental literacy of the next generation. From yoga to farming, philosophical thinking to boxing, our 360° educational programme gives young people the skills, knowledge, and confidence to go beyond their day to day routines.

Since launching our pilot scheme at The Totteridge Academy, North London in May 2019 GROW has started a first school, built a community farm and rolled out a full programme to 300 students per week as part of the curriculum. Our aim is to see GROW become second nature, as normal in a young person’s day as a maths lesson or football practice.

Purpose:

We are looking for a Creative Junior to join our small and ambitious team and help amplify our young people’s stories as they explore well-being and self-discovery. Main responsibilities include managing our social media accounts and taking and editing photos and videos. If you want to kickstart your creative career and are familiar with image or video editing software, we’d like to meet you!

Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and cohesive brand both online and offline.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage our social media accounts. This includes YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter
  • Photography and videography, documenting all GROW activities
  • Editing photos and videos for internal and external use
  • Research and recommend new ideas for strengthening our brand
  • Help design promotional material for events, like brochures and videos
  • Prepare content for internal use (like guidelines and glossaries)
  • Write copy for marketing and communication material, including press releases and infographics
  • Coordinate with team members to gather images, logos, stats and content to use in various creative projects
  • General support including data collection, equipment management, administration, creative contribution, student facing activities, producing/organising various shoots and activities, initiatives, workshops, programmes inside and outside of TTA
  • Maintain updated records and archives of the videos, images and guides that we use
  • Be mindful of child safeguarding at all times. Keep up-to-date with relevant training and understand GROW and TTA’s safeguarding policies and procedures
