Today Vitsœ is renowned for its single-minded commitment to responsible design as well as its continuous production of Dieter Rams’s furniture, which it delivers directly to customers in more than 70 countries.

Video is an integral part of Vitsœ’s communications toolkit, often a customer’s first point of contact with the company and its products.

Job purpose

As a natural storyteller, the videographer produces thoughtfully-designed videos to the highest standards, representative of Vitsœ’s unique identity and voice. Their visually engaging films will both educate and spread the word of Vitsœ to the wider world.

Responsibilities:

• creating videos to showcase Vitsœ to a global audience, including: product-instructional; editorial (documentary shorts, interviews); studio; stop-motion

• managing the production process: concepts, storyboards, schedules, filming, editing

• colour correction, grading of video material and other post-production

• capturing high quality audio and researching/obtaining soundtracks

• developing Vitsœ’s video strategy and ensuring consistency in tone and quality

• working as part of the wider communications team to ensure a consistent and considered approach to all campaigns and output

The role requires:

• a creative, adaptable approach to projects and an appetite for storytelling

• collaboration, working across Vitsœ’s teams; willing to take, and act upon direction

• experience in camera operation, videography, editing, lighting and still photography

• advanced knowledge of production and post-production processes

• proficiency in some, or all, of the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects

• sound design and audio mastering skills (recording, mixing, scoring, etc)

The person will be:
