Junior Designer/Artworker

About the role

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic junior designer/artworker to join our creative team on one of Redwood’s key automotive clients on a Fixed Term Contract. Working directly with the Art Director and alongside the Deputy Digital Director, your tasks will include research and development of design ideas and concepts, design application across print and digital media, artworking and seeing projects through to final production.

This role will suit someone who is keen to learn and develop their skills, enjoys working in a small friendly team and has a flexible approach to working across different types of projects.

Main duties

• Picture research
• Asset management
• Multilanguage CMS production using different platforms
• Social asset creation

Experience and skills

• Some experience in an agency or studio environment would be useful but not essential
• A portfolio that shows creative concepts, design application and final outcomes
• Degree or equivalent in graphic design or visual communication
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite of programs – specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop – and WordPress
• Website design and a working knowledge of CMS with the ability to build templated websites
• Desire to learn
• A flair for typography
• An eye for detail
• A good communicator, who collaborates with the team
