Colorido Studios is an independent creative consultancy based in Twickenham on the jungle paradise of Eel Pie Island. We believe in creating thoughtful and vibrant design work with a bold approach along with a strong emphasis on quality and craft. We’re a small studio but with an already envious client list and a great portfolio of work and most importantly, we believe in being nice people to work with.

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are growing our already talented creative team and we now need an outstanding Graphic Designer to add to that talent and help with the creative delivery across all of our projects. You’ll work alongside Creative Directors on a wide variety of projects ranging from brand identity and packaging design through to digital UI projects for web & apps and everything in between. You’ll be expected to get involved with workshops, reviews, critiques and pitches with both the team and the Studio’s clients. We’d expect you to be able to see a project from exception through to completion, taking and implementing feedback from clients and helping to steer them towards suitable design solutions.

ABOUT YOU:

It’s a common request in job ads, but we really need someone with a passion for design and natural creative flair. We’re a company that’s run by old school designers so you need to eat, sleep and breathe layout, colour and typography. You’ll always be pushing boundaries, asking questions and thinking of new approaches to design problems. You’ll have a good understanding of what makes great brands tick, be well versed in the principles of digital design across all platforms and devices and also have a firm grip on print processes and production. Enthusiasm and energy are key along with a self starting, get-it-done mentality.

What we need from you:

• At least 3 year’s creative agency/studio experience
• Your portfolio of work will be both thoughtful and visually stunning
• Experience across a broad range of disciplines and sectors
• A boundless and slightly nerdy knowledge of typefaces and typography
• Comfortable working with brand guidelines (and creating them)
• Ultimate boss level mastery of Adobe CC
• Confident in Figma for digital design
• A good knowledge of UX/UI design principles and human centred usability design
• Impressive and confident when presenting to clients
• A worryingly obsessive attention to detail
• Calm under pressure and comfortable with giving and getting feedback
