Job Description
Who we are:
Noble Studio is a curious and playful creative collective, using design to accelerate positive change for people and the planet. We believe in amplifying social and environmental causes through considered design, using play and collaboration with our clients to create impactful visuals. Our clients trust us to be bold in our approach to conveying their vital data and messaging, often joining us on a journey of considered risk-taking that leads to new and dynamic solutions.
We’re super passionate about supporting impact-driven organisations at every level from grassroots change-makers and fledgling social startups, to larger third sector bodies, think tanks and research institutes. Our work includes: branding, infographics, animation, illustration and gamified resources.
Our strong values shape the way we approach everything we do as a studio, both with our clients and internally within our team. Our collaborative, playful and reflective way of working seems to mean our happy clients keep coming back, often recommending us to their networks, and our fun, creative and caring work culture is why our team all seem to stick around!
Our team of 6 (plus two sausage dogs) have been running as a studio for seven years and are looking to build additional project management capacity into our structure. We are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for the work, and brings the relevant skills.
The Role
We see this role as being largely Project Management with an element of building and growing relationships with potential clients and partners.
Working with the Director, Design Team, and our Studio & Project Manager the successful candidate will be involved in progressing projects from client enquiries, through to scoping, proposals, project setup through delivery to evaluation. On average there will be up to 10 projects to manage at any given time with contracts lasting from 3 days to 6 months. Clear communication skills are really important for this role as the project manager will be liaising with all members of the team as well as clients and external freelancers.
You will have a view of what is happening outside of the organisation in the world of design and social impact, this could be compiling a wish list of clients, seeking suitable contracts, and updating the rest of the team on events or developments in the sector. Together both Projects Managers will work on a marketing strategy. While expected to be a lead in this area, the collaborative nature of the organisation means that there will always be involvement from the wider team including design and director.
Alongside client work we are keen to support and develop the team and studio and set aside time each week for creative sessions and group planning. We are hoping to develop this side of the organization further over the next year.
