Freelance Webflow + HTML Email Developer

We’re a UK-based design agency looking for a freelancer who can build both Webflow websites and HTML marketing emails from responsive Figma designs. This is an ongoing, project-based role and we’re keen to build a long-term partnership with someone reliable, detail-obsessed, and comfortable working with a small agency team.

• Experience level: Junior–Senior
• Rate: Please share your hourly or day rate (we pay fairly based on experience)

What you’ll do

Webflow builds

• Build marketing sites and CMS-driven websites in Webflow from Figma designs.
• Implement responsive behaviour using Webflow breakpoints and best-practice responsive patterns.
• Set up and style CMS Collections (blogs, case studies, team pages, etc.).
• Create clean, reusable components and maintainable class structures.
• Add light custom code where needed (tracking, embeds, small enhancements).
• Apply practical SEO setup (titles/meta, basic technical hygiene, publish readiness).
• Build with accessibility in mind (semantic structure, forms, contrast, keyboard usability).
• QA across common browsers/devices before handover.

HTML email builds

• Build responsive HTML emails from Figma using email-safe patterns (table-based layout, inline CSS, etc.).
• QA and fix rendering issues across major clients (including Outlook quirks).
• Support testing and handoff in CRMs/ESPs when required (varies by client).

Must-have experience

• Strong experience shipping real Webflow builds for clients (please show examples).
• Confident translating Figma → Webflow (layout, typography, spacing, components, responsiveness).
• Strong HTML email development skills (not just web HTML/CSS).
• Proven cross-client email compatibility work (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, etc.).
• High attention to detail with solid QA habits.
• Good communication: you flag issues early, estimate work sensibly, and work from briefs.
• Litmus and/or Email on Acid testing experience.

Nice to have

• Experience improving Lighthouse basics (performance/accessibility/SEO).
• CRM/ESP build + test sends (varies by client).

• We provide Figma files, assets, and a clear brief; you provide production ready assets that have been thoroughly tested.
• We may ask for a paid test task to confirm build quality and working style (then we move quickly into real projects).
