Job Description
CALP is seeking an experienced illustrator to create a set of illustrations and icons that can be used across its communications work.
They will develop a set of illustrations that can be used throughout CALP Network communications across a variety of channels (web, social media, publications, email).
Our 'niche/subject matter' is humanitarian cash and voucher assistance - i.e. giving people in cirsis cash - not stuff.
To that end we need illustrations of people using cash machines, shopping, receiving digital or paper cash vouchers e.t.c. We also need to show the 'office' side of things, for example humanitarian workers attending meetings, visiting the field and drawing up plans.
The illustrations should be consistent with CALP’s current brand guidelines and values. We seek to show the diversity of people working to support people in crisis through humanitarian work, and also people in crisis themselves.
Above all else we would like the illustrations to convey our core belief in choice and dignity for people in crisis. As part of this work we are also asking for the illustrator to expand on our icon library, in line with a predetermined style.
