Job Description
Experience Team Contractor Opportunity
Unreasonable is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented event production and logistics contractor to support the Experience team across two upcoming UK-based programs in 2026. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to delivering seamless, human-centered experiences for our community.
This contract role offers meaningful ownership of event logistics and production work, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance, fit, and evolving company needs.
This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career event operations professional who is confident executing independently within a clear scope, thrives in high-intensity environments, and is excited to grow within a collaborative Experience team. It is not a lead producer role, but it does require strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
Programs & Responsibilities
Unreasonable Impact UK + Europe
Location: Hertfordshire, UK
Dates: April 13–22, 2026
You will support program logistics and on-the-ground execution for ~80 attendees, including:
- Managing arrival and departure logistics and orientation details for all program participants
- Coordinating travel arrangements and troubleshooting travel-related issues
- Managing rooming lists and working directly with the venue on room drops, changes, and housekeeping coordination
- Handling guest special requests with care and professionalism
- Supporting experience production and day-to-day program operations onsite, for example:
- Support Food & Beverage coordination, including liaising with venue teams on meal set-ups and dinner seating plans
- Assist with the installation and de-rig of production equipment, furniture, and event dressing items
- Help ensure event spaces are set up and reset efficiently in line with production schedules
Unreasonable Alchemy
Location: Cotswolds, UK
Dates: June 5–11, 2026
You will work alongside the Experience team to support logistics and production for a 300+ person flagship event. Specific responsibilities will be finalized closer to the program, but may include:
- Ordering, organizing, and inventorying supplies and materials
- Overseeing signage installation and sponsorship display setup
- Setting up and maintaining the production office
- Preparing and maintaining session spaces and materials
- Supporting arrivals, orientation, and departures
- Responding to guest inquiries onsite and coordinating special requests in real time
How You’ll Work
You will be trusted to own defined areas of logistics and production, anticipate needs, and make day-to-day decisions independently. This role requires someone who knows when to act, when to ask questions, and when to escalate — especially in fast-moving, onsite environments.
You’ll be supported by the Experience team, but you should feel confident executing without constant direction and comfortable problem-solving calmly under pressure.
Ideal Candidate
- You have 2–5 years of experience in event production, event planning, and/or event logistics
- You are confident taking initiative within a clear scope and don’t need step-by-step instruction to execute well
- You understand that seamless logistics are foundational to meaningful experiences
- You approach hospitality with warmth, care, and attention to detail
- You stay grounded and resourceful when plans change (because they always do)
- You are highly organized and meticulous — you double, triple, and quadruple-check your work
- You thrive juggling multiple communication channels (calls, Slack, email, Google Docs, comments, etc.)
- You are quick to adopt new tools and systems (bonus points for Slack, Google Docs, Airtable)
- You communicate clearly, proactively, and honestly
- You follow up and follow through — every time
- You are never the person who says, “That’s not my job”
- You are what we’d call a GyShiDo Master
- As you read about Unreasonable’s core values and Guiding Principles, you feel increasingly excited about working in a values-driven organization
- You are excited to grow your skills and responsibilities over time, rather than step immediately into a lead producer role
Contract-to-Hire Note
This role is structured as a contract with the potential to transition into a full-time, early- to mid-career position on the Experience team based on performance, fit, and evolving company needs. A full-time role would include increased ownership, mentorship, and growth over time. A full time employment opportunity is not guaranteed.
