Role Overview
As Social Media Executive, you are the engine that keeps our channels running across a wide portfolio of international clients within the luxury hospitality sector, F&B, and art and design.
Working closely with the Social Media Manager, you turn strategy and creative direction into beautifully executed, day-to-day activity: building and drafting calendars, sourcing and organising assets, scheduling and publishing daily, managing communities, and keeping content moving between the team and the creative crew. You are passionate about social media and digital marketing, with strong interests across the cultural landscape and sectors including travel, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion and beauty.
Your hands-on skills are in fast, social-native turnaround and the operational excellence that keeps everything publishing on time and on-brand. Experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Meta, ideally gained in an agency environment, is a strong advantage.
Background & Experience
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
• Platform knowledge: Familiarity with key platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, and an understanding of paid social activity.
• Content production: Comfortable shooting photo and video on iPhone to a social-ready standard.
• Content editing: Comfortable editing social-first videos
• Copywriting skills: Strong copywriting skills with a desire to learn and grow within this space
• Industry knowledge: Interest or experience across the luxury, hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, design and arts & culture sectors.
• Analytical mindset: A proactive approach to pulling social media performance data and contributing insights to reporting.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication for working effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Team player: Confident and personable, able to collaborate in a team while managing solo tasks independently and calmly under daily deadlines.
Desired Platform Experience
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
• Meta Business Suite, Google Ads Dashboard
• Project Management Tools (ie Notion, Asana etc)
• Social Media Scheduling Tools (ie Sproutsocial, Later.com, Hubspot)
Key Areas of Responsibility
Social Media Management & Publishing
• Schedule and publish all content daily across social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
• Manage day-to-day community management as the first line of response.
Content Planning & Coordination
• Build and maintain content calendars to guide social media activity.
• Source, organise and repackage assets from DAMs, with in-house edits where needed.
Paid Social
• Support the delivery of paid social campaigns, setting up and boosting content under the Manager’s direction.
Campaign Ideation & Delivery
• Assist in brainstorming, creating and executing innovative campaigns that align with client goals and maintain a high standard of quality.
Reporting & Analytics
• Compile weekly and monthly social media performance data for the Manager to interpret and present.
Strategy & Creativity
• Contribute to seasonal strategies and ideation for client campaigns.
• Stay on the pulse of culturally relevant trends and opportunities, feeding them into the calendar.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose innovative solutions.
Operational Excellence
• Provide on-set support and coordination during shoots.
• Coordinate, track and help report on all paid and organic campaign results.
• Compile meeting agendas and minutes to support the Manager.
