Job Description

A little bit about & SMITH

We are experts in branding for hotels, food and drink.

We’re a creative team of 7, currently operating a hybrid and flexible way of working, with Shoreditch as our base.

Our Partners, Rachel and Dan, cut their design teeth at Pentagram in 2003 and set up & SMITH in 2007. Over the last 15 years we’ve earned our stripes as hotel, food and drink branding specialists. We’re a friendly bunch who like to eat (a lot), drink and sleep – and we’re always looking for new ways to improve life at & SMITH.

We’re looking for a talented and energetic Middleweight to join our team.

What you’ll be doing

– You’ll be working on a variety of different projects within a small design team.

– You’ll be able to work independently whist being available to help and support other team members.

– You’ll be meeting and presenting to clients.

What we’re looking for

– We really value creativity, so we’ll expect you to always be searching for original creative ideas.

– You’ll be interested in the design community around you, and be keen to continually sharpen your technical skills.

– You’ll have confidence to lead smaller projects independently and have a good attitude to working alongside others.

– You’ll be ambitious, talented, and interested to grow and take on responsibility within & SMITH.

– Ideally you’ll be interested in moving image and animation too, to support us on small projects when needed.

– You’ll be comfortable presenting your ideas to the team and clients.

– You’ll love food and drink, eating out when you can, and have an interest in travel.

Experience

You’ll have a Graphic Design degree and at least 3 years experience as a designer in the industry.

– Good organisational skills
